Pupillage Vacancy Information
Chambers offers up to two pupillage places every year, commencing in October. Pupils in First Six will spend three months with a criminal or regulatory practitioner, and three months with a housing, civil or employment barrister. In Second Six, pupils can expect to be busy working on their own cases.
Chambers will pay expenses to circuit-based training events and will cover reasonable expenses at Chambers marketing events.
As well as your pupil supervisor Chambers provides a designated pastoral care member of Chambers.
We have a strict Equality and Diversity policy and a designated and qualified Equality and Diversity officer in Chambers and a strict fair allocation of work policy. All documents on this are available on request.
Poonam Pattni is our Equality and Diversity Officer should you wish to contact her.
We are a progressive, independent set based in Southampton but working across the whole of Southern England. Established in 1975, chambers has always encouraged and welcomes applications from those who have historically been under-represented at the Bar. It has strong links with Bar None and BDA Bar to further this aim.
