Pupillage Vacancy Information

4BB is a leading set of Chambers specialising in the practice of criminal law.
Although based in London, Members of Chambers practise nationwide.
Particular expertise includes: white collar crime, serious fraud, revenue offences, regulatory offences, customs and excise and VAT fraud, money laundering and the proceeds of crime legislation.

In addition, our practice embraces all other fields of criminal law. These include murder, terrorism, drug trafficking, robbery, sexual offences, corporate manslaughter and offences of public disorder.

We provide representation in all Courts from the Magistrates’ Court to the Supreme Court and in quasi-criminal jurisdictions such as the GMC, Coroners’ Courts and in all forms of judicial inquiry.

Structure of Pupillage

Pupils will be allocated a Pupil Supervisor for their first six but will have the opportunity to spend time with other Members of Chambers.
A different Pupil Supervisor will be allocated for the second six. Pupils can expect to be in Court every day.
Chambers is offering four Pupillages starting in early July. It ispossible that the start date may have to be delayed until the beginning of October.  Applicants MUST be available to start at both of these times

Financial and Other Support Available

Pupils will be funded by a grant of £2050 per month plus travel expenses during their first six months of pupillage and guaranteed earnings of £2050 per month during their second six months.Chambers will pay for all compulsory courses completed by Pupils during the 12 months of their pupillage. There is also a travel allowance grant for Pupils.
