Pupillage Vacancy Information

About Authorised Education and Training Organisation

Apex Chambers is a specialist criminal set based in Cardiff in South Wales. Members of chambers both prosecute and defend in all areas of criminal and regulatory law.

Structure of Pupillage

Successful applicants will spend the first 6 months of their pupillage shadowing their pupil supervisor, gaining experience of serious criminal cases in the Crown Court.

While being assigned to a particular supervisor for the duration of their pupillage, successful applicants can expect to spend time with a number of different members of chambers in order to experience the full range of work that chambers undertakes.

Pupils will begin taking on their own work during the second six months of their pupillage and will appear in a variety of cases in both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
