Pupillage Vacancy Information
About Authorised Education and Training Organisation:
Keoghs LLP is a leading provider of legal services to the UK insurance industry and a part of the Davies Group.
Keoghs Advocacy is an in-house team of barristers and solicitor advocates, formed in 2014 to provide specialist drafting, advocacy, and advisory services to Keoghs' litigation and claims service lines.
Structure of Pupillage:
The successful candidate will be supervised by a barrister of 27 years' call and partner at Keoghs.
The pupillage will be based in the Liverpool office and include hybrid working, with an expectation of travel between court centres and Keoghs’ offices. The successful candidate will experience work across all core practice areas, centring around the defence of litigated insurance claims. The pupil will also have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with litigation teams and to develop an understanding of the commercial aspects of in-house practice.
Financial and Other Support Available:
The pupillage consists of a 12-month fixed term contract, with a fixed salary paid monthly. Professional membership fees, compulsory education courses and expenses (in line with the relevant Keoghs policy) will be covered by the business.
Equality Diversity and Inclusion:
The Davies Group Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy is applied by Keoghs Advocacy (copy attached)
