Four, three month seats.
In line with our core values, Matrix invests a great deal of time and effort into the realisation of equality, diversity and inclusion at work and at the Bar. Matrix is a committed advocate of equality in all aspects.
We are founder members of FreeBar as well as having our own internal LGBT+ Alliance and we are signatories of the FreeBar Charter. We are signed up to the Women in Law Pledge and to the Babington Charter (through Neurodiversity in Law). We participate in schemes through Bridging the Bar and 10,000 Black Interns in addition to the work experience and ‘Future Lawyers’ schemes that we run ourselves. We have an EDI action plan in place which includes looking more closely at equality in terms of earnings, retention and progression, and at how we can be more inclusive of disabled members, trainees, staff and clients.
You can read more about some of our EDI work here: matrixlaw.co.uk/csr/equality-and-diversity. Alternatively, you can speak to our Equality & Inclusion Manager, Alice Brighouse (alicebrighouse@matrixlaw.co.uk). Alice is also our Accessibility Officer, so if you have any questions about Matrix’s accessibility please feel free to contact her. Please note that you can find more information about reasonable adjustments for visitors and applicants on our website here: www.matrixlaw.co.uk/about-us/reasonable-adjustments
