Reasonable adjustments

How to Apply

Aspiring barristers are invited to apply to chambers between Wednesday 4 January 2023 and Wednesday 8 February 2023 using the Pupillage Gateway application system to search for the relevant Pupillage Vacancy and selecting ‘Apply for this pupillage’.

In addition to the standardised Bar Council questionnaire, candidates will be asked to respond to the following questions from Chambers:

1. Why do you believe you will make a good barrister? In your answer, please identify any relevant experiences or skills that you believe may help you in your career.

2. What areas of practice are you interested in? In your answer, please give reasons for your choice and outline any relevant experience or skills that may assist you in your chosen areas of practice.

3. Why do you want to join Pendragon Chambers? Please explain why you consider that our chambers is the right choice for you and what attributes and skills you can offer us?

About AETO and Structure of Pupillage

We are a progressive Family Law set with opportunities to develop and expand an existing civil work base.   With an emphasis on client care and relationship building whilst delivering high quality legal services, we are looking for driven individuals who understand that fostering good relationships and success of the team are essential. 

Structure of Pupillage

6 months shadowing 1 or 2 pupil supervisors with exposure to experience with all members of chambers, feedback from all members overseen by the supervisor and 6 months of being on your feet with support from a pupil supervisor
