About Authorised Education and Training Organisation and Structure of Pupillage
The Legal Team at Reading Borough Council is highly regarded and the Joint Legal Team is a long standing shared legal service for all the Berkshire Councils and a recognized center of excellence for public childcare, adults and education law. Pupillages are offered for 12 months under the supervision of experienced practitioners with opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in the practice areas primarily of public children and adult social care law along with other practice areas detailed below.
Financial and Other Support Available
Remuneration is paid as an annual salary with additional benefits of paid holiday, flexible working opportunities and pension scheme (LGPS). Health and wellbeing of Staff is supported by the Council who can access a range of services, including the Employee Assistance Programme which provides independent advice, information and support and is free and confidential.
