We are a civil set based in Nottingham but with a nationwide reach. We practise a wide variety of civil work from costs to commercial, personal injury to credit hire. In pupillage, we will endeavour to ensure that you are exposed to all areas of civil practice in readiness for tenancy. 


Structure of Pupillage

We are offering up to two twelve-month pupillages in 2026. The successful applicant(s) will commence their pupillage in October 2026. 

 
Financial and Other Support Available

The pupillage award is £50,000. This is made up of £25,000 for the non-practising period and guaranteed receipts of £25,000 in the practising period. £10,000 can be drawn down to assist the applicant in the 12 months before commencing pupillage.

Aspiring barristers are invited to apply to chambers between 2 January 2025 and 6 February 2025 using the Pupillage Gateway application system to search for the relevant Pupillage Vacancy and selecting ‘Apply for this pupillage’

2. What law would you enact, amend or repeal, and why? Whilst not a requirement, we are particularly interested in answers which may relate to chambers’ practice areas? (max 250 words)
